In math we took a test on ratio. I got a 95 on it. I missed the question because I read the problem wrong. I need to practice reading the questions better. Besides that one problem I did amazing! I even did a problem that Mrs. Burkhart took off the test, and got it right. I think that ratios are kind of easy, but there is always room for improvement. When we went over the tests I knew the answer to the question that I got wrong right away. Next math test, I will get a 100!😊

## Math

Every Monday we have a math quiz, here is an example of one of my quizzes. Math is one of my favorite subjects, and I get pretty good scores on my quizzes. One of my tricks is to double even triple check my work, before putting it in the “inbox”. I also always study before every quiz. I know my times tables really well too. The way that I can improve on my quizzes, is that I can try to study even more than I already do.

This is a picture of my latest math quiz. Look, I got 100%!

## 4th Grade Math Reflection

## Comparing and Ordering Positive and Negative Numbers

We are learning about positive and negative numbers. A negative number is a number below zero. A positive number is a number above zero. A negative number looks like a regular number, it just has a minus symbol in front of it. We learned that when you are using positive and negative numbers, it goes from left to right. Left is smallest and right is largest. Like this: -21<-3 the number negative three is larger, so the “alligator” wants to “eat” it. That is an example of negative numbers. Now I will show you an example for positive numbers. 12>8 the number twelve is larger so the “alligator” wants to “eat” it. We also answered questions like: what is one more than three (the answer is four), or what is five more than negative ten (the answer is negative five). Below there are two pictures of a number line with positive and negative numbers

## Math SLC Reflection Fall 2014

This is my best piece because I got 100 percent on this test, and it is on multiples. This test reminds me of learning my multiplication times tables, and I think doing multiplication is very fun. I selected this piece of work for my portfolio because I thought doing the test was fun. It is my newest test, so I remember it more than my older tests. If could work on my test more, I would just look at the test and smile because I got all of the questions right. My work now is different from the beginning of the year because, at the beginning of the year I didn’t know half the things I know now. The skills I learned from doing this test are, that I learned that multiples are basically multiplication. I found this test slightly easy, and very fun.
