How To Braid Hair

Hey all you dads, sisters, moms, and brothers who want to braid hair I”ll teach you how to braid hair.  It is harder to do it to yourself.  You might want to comb the hair first.  Practice on a doll before you do it to a real person. First, split the hair into three strands.  Next, take the right strand ( your right ) and put it over the middle of the strands.  Do the same with the left ( your left ).  Keep repeating  this pattern.  You want to stop doing this when you have an inch of hair left.  Get a hair tie or rubber band ( which ever you think is better ) and put it around the piece of hair.  Twist and put it around.  You should do it three or four times, and then split the bottom hair in two and pull to tighten.  Good Job! If you did it right it should look like this.

What I learned at Tree Hill

IMG_0727IMG_0726Today, when I first got to Tree Hill we saw and learned about Boa Constrictors.  Then, the boys went on a hike, and the girls went to outdoor stations 1-3 ( because we have 20 kids in our class ).  At the stations we observed worms, decaying logs, and seeds.  Then we were ready for the lab!  On our way to the lab, we saw an owl that got hit by a car.  It survived, but can’t fly.  At the lab, we used microscopes to look at flowers, bugs, and leaves.  When we went to the Discovery Lab.  It was SOOOO COOL!!!!  I WILL NOT!! tell you why it’s so cool, you will have to see for yourself.  It was time for lunch.  After lunch, we bought our stuff in the gift shop.  After that, we went on a hike.  We saw a rare kind of fungi.  Another name for it is Lichen.  We also saw a yellow belly woodpecker, and much Much MUCH more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It was the BEST FIELD TRIP EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
